Where to Begin Without Dieting? Start Here!

We are excited to announce the launch of a new faith-based nutrition counseling program for our BodyBLoved subscribers and followers. This is a giant leap of faith but we feel God’s gentle nudges to offer this new service. And the best part? You can stay right there in your jammies on the couch and get support from a BodyBLoved nutrition coach.

And this is only just the beginning! Our vision for BodyBLoved is to have bible studies and support groups available for those wanting to experience ultimate freedom though Christ in food, fitness and body image. But first things first – we’re unveiling our new one-on-one nutrition counseling service.

If I’m honest, it has been really hard to be patient lately. Our BodyBLoved team is amped up. We so desperately want to heal broken relationships with food and fitness…like yesterday. We receive emails and messages frequently asking if we are going to create a bible study or curriculum. Thank you for those! It’s so encouraging to hear we’re on the right track. And the answer is yes! Yes, yes, yes!! We feel called to this ministry.

We are creating and refining a curriculum and devotional but the Lord has not shown us yet how to package that up to deliver that to you all. It’s frustrating at times because we see the need for this daily. We can’t wait to unveil these new resources and we truly believe they will help thousands of people access all that God has for them though freedom in every area of their lives. We’re going to keep asking the Lord for guidance and direction and we trust that when the time is right, He’s gonna make it happen. And it’s gonna be GOOD!

In Luke 15: 4 - 6  Jesus says, “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders  and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.”

If you’re the lost sheep, don’t worry He’ll find you and rescue you from your food struggles. He cares for you - just as a shepherd cares for his sheep.

For now, we feel the Lord is telling us to “do for one what you want to do for many” and that is exactly our intention with our new faith-based nutrition counseling program. For now, we can be a shepherd and provide hope, encouragement and evidence-based nutrition counseling for one person at a time and watch God do His healing thing. If we can help just one person have a better relationship with food, fitness and their bodies then that is a victory!

Starting today we are accepting clients for our faith-based nutrition counseling program. You likely have dietitians in your community who can provide nutrition counseling. However, it is honestly rare to come across a dietitian who can support you in your Christian faith and provide individualized care that centers around discovering food peace, freedom from dieting, and body respect.

Our counseling will be available via phone or video calls (whichever you prefer) or if you are in one of our counselor’s geographic region, we may be able to offer face-to-face counseling as well. We have competitive prices and although we are not currently accepting health insurance, we may be able to provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company.  To see a full list of our services click the button below.

Our dietitians are highly trained in body image, eating disorders, and weight concerns. We are also able to provide counseling for chronic diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.

For this first month we have 4 spots open for new clients.  If you are interested, we recommend that you schedule a free “pre-consultation” so that we can hear your story and discuss where you’ve been and where you’d like to go in your personal health journey.
